I was very happy with this purchase. I had looked all over for lego blocks and could only find kits. I just wanted a large amount of blocks of different sizes and that's want I got and more. I bought a case for the blocks because one was not pictured in the add, and to my suprise they came with a case too. I felt that I got more than I had expected for my money.

It's hard to find a Lego set in stores today that isn't gender-specific or that isn't manufactured specifically to create a single design, ie, a spaceship, or that doesn't relate to a specific character or movie, ie, Star Wars. This set provides heaps of Lego pieces that allow the user's imagination to run wild, and where the end result isn't preplanned by the manufacturer.
My granddaughter is 4 years old and this was her graduation present from Duplos. She does very well with the small Lego pieces, and they help develop hand-eye coordination.
